5. Electronic Procurement
Electric Center will issue all of its standard and back to back Purchase Orders electronically using a mixture of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and WDI (Web Data Interchange) via our new BTE (Business Transaction Exchange).
Suppliers that do not have EDI software may wish to use our Internet based BTE.
The Electric Center BTE will become available in the next few weeks, we will contact you to advise you of the web site URL, your User Id and your Password.
Electric Center will supply unique user IDs and Passwords to each of our Suppliers, in return all we need from you is a contact email address where our new transaction alerts can be sent to.
User requirements are � Working internet connection, Internet Explorer browser, Adobe Reader 7 and the pop-up blocker turned off.
The Electric Center BTE can be located at http://wolseley.freewaycommerce.biz/
All Suppliers will be contacted shortly to either:
- Commence EDI Order Integration testing
- Provide WDI User Identification and Password details
- Commence WDI Order Integration testing
In exceptional circumstances we may also allow E MAIL or Auto Fax Purchase Orders but this will only be on a temporary basis until such time that Suppliers establish electronic links to our system.
